Our client is a leading plastics manufacturer specializing in high-quality molded products using both injection and thermoforming processes. They are looking for you, an experienced Mold Setup Technician, to join their production team. This is a direct hire opportunity for someone passionate about machinery, setup processes, and keeping operations running smoothly.
What you get to do:

Perform mold changes and set up job orders based on schedule
Load and position tools into presses and execute changeovers
Set up and maintain secondary equipment like thermolators, chillers, and heat controllers
Inspect, maintain, and clean molds and machines
Complete documentation and changeover sheets accurately
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely
Train operators and assist with troubleshooting and process improvements
What you need to succeed:
High school diploma or GED required
At least 6 months of experience in the plastic molding industry preferred
Forklift experience required (must maintain valid forklift license)
Knowledge of molding processes and materials
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
