Scope / Areas

of Responsibility

  • Ensures health, safety, quality, and environmental policies are complied with.
  • Controls and records drying material process (HR test, drying control plan, and other related data)
  • Blends material according to defined ratios.
  • Reports to Molding Process Engineer and supervisor any parameter out of specs in the dryer room.
  • Issues maintenance work orders for keeping equipment and tools performing properly.
  • Responsible for meeting quality and performance expectations on each set up.
  • Supports weekly line startup and shutdown.
  • Maintains molding 5S standards during normal operations and change over.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper condition of EOA racks.
  • Fills in for process technician as needed.
  • Works with shift leader and process technician to meet schedule targets.
  • Manages maintenance program for the dryer and blender filters.
  • Manages first level maintenance for tools (cleaning and lubricating).
  • Keeps traceability data updated.
  • Provides proper information at shift change to ensure clear communication/direction between shifts.
  • Keeps storage for service tools and tools not currently used in production properly organized.
Advisable training/skills:
  • Safety training
  • Forklift
  • Crane
  • Lock out and tag out
  • SDS knowledge and training
  • Molding Process Advisable professional experience:
  • 2 years of experience preferred, but not required.

Hourly non-exempt, full-time

Shift:

Second – 3:00 PM to 11:30

PM Pay Rate:

$18.61/hour (depending on experience)
