  • Job Description
  • We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Technician responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection mold machines and production equipment. The ideal candidate will establish, record, and maintain machine process parameters to mold parts that meet quality specifications, document mold changes and machine adjustments, and perform inspections on mold components.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot injection mold machines and production equipment.

+ Establish, record, and maintain machine process parameters to mold parts that meet quality specifications. + Document mold changes and machine adjustments. + Clean and maintain molds and equipment. + Perform inspections on mold components. + Repair any damages to the mold or machinery. + Monitor all processes related to blow-molding to ensure equipment is running smoothly and efficiently. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Team. + Program and troubleshoot robots, specifically Engle Injection Machines, Moto-man / Fanuc Robots. + Troubleshoot, repair, or replace components of robot equipment. + Understand general molding practices and operation of pneumatic equipment & repair. + Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operation and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. + Understand general ordering practices for operational supplies (e.g., sandpaper, gloves).

  • Essential Skills
  • + Experience with mold setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

+ Knowledge of injection molding machine operation and maintenance. + Ability to program and troubleshoot robots, particularly Engle Injection Machines, Moto-man / Fanuc Robots. + Understanding of general molding practices and operation of pneumatic equipment. + Experience in repairing or replacing robot equipment components. + Ability to perform emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required. + Experience with injection blow molding and blow mold machines. + Ability to work with injection molded plastic parts. + Familiarity with general ordering practices for operational supplies.

  • The work schedule includes 10-hour shifts and 12-hour shifts, with shifts running from 3pm-11pm and 1pm-7am. You will be working in a plant environment, focusing on keeping machines running efficiently.
