Here at Parthenon Tube, Inc., we receive steel coils, form and weld them into tubes, and can further process them into shorter cut lengths. We can also utilize our state-of-the art tube lasers, benders, and other fabrication equipment to meet the exacting requirements of our customers. These positions will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks involving the general maintenance and operations processes; basic understanding of equipment and performs related work as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Embraces the 1 T.E.A.M. culture Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work and in accordance with Safety Policy and OSHA standards. Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines. Verification and recording of product identification Reconcile coil identity for production and load coil Ensuring material is loaded onto lines and fed into production equipment in accordance with all safety policies and quality procedures. Responsible for making necessary adjustments to ensure material tracking/stacking. Performing in process visual inspection Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to use computers, read tape measures, micrometers and calipers Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to work outside normal business hours/days as needed Able to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the company Able to read and comprehend simple work instructions, work orders, short correspondence and memos written in English Able to write simple correspondence in English Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, required Industry knowledge and experience, a plus Physical Demands and Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to high.
