We are seeking an experienced Evaluating Specialist – Plant Equipment to monitor and evaluate equipment performance, identifying potential issues or failures. This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency and requires candidates to be on call one week out of every four weeks as part of a 24/7 operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular evaluations of plant equipment by collecting and analyzing vibration data, oil samples, infrared data, and motor testing to assess equipment condition. Utilize Maximo for CBM Technology Examinations, maintenance recommendations, equipment assessments, and case histories. Provide maintenance and operational guidance based on expertise. Communicate findings and recommendations regarding equipment operation, maintenance repairs, replacements, modifications, and scheduling with Plant Management and work groups. Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and analyze acceptance data for new or rebuilt equipment.

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:

Two-year technical degree and/or four years of prior maintenance, operations, or similar experience in an industrial setting is preferred.

Certifications:

Category I or II Vibration Analyst certification is preferred. However, certifications or knowledge in Oil Analysis, Infrared Thermography, or Motor Testing will also be considered.

Technical Skills:

Ability to operate a variety of electronic field equipment and tools.

Software Proficiency:

Experience with Excel, Word, OIS, and Maximo is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in cold and hot weather conditions within an industrial facility. Must be capable of climbing ladders and working at elevated heights.
