TheEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Specialist is responsible foruploading and maintaining accurate ERP product data to optimizekitchen processes and streamline inventory management, costcontrol, production planning, and recipe management for the metrofood production facility.
- Sage X3 ERP experience preferred
- FoodManufacturing experience required
Responsibilities:
- Work withinternal stakeholders to drive efficiency, quality, and accuracy ofERP master data.
- Continuously assess product data through theusage of exception reports to ensure ERP data quality andintegrity, root causing any issues and communicating with allrelevant departments.
- Participate in the change order process andnew product introduction, taking responsibility for ERP-relatedactivities.
- Provide input and guidance on the most efficient waysto structure change requests as they relate to the release andmaintenance of data in the ERP system.
- Provide ERPtraining/support for production, inventory and QC team members
- Ensure ERP supports full product traceability and facilitates rapidresponse for auditing needs.
- Participate in continuous cyclecounting and yearly inventory audits and report on discrepancies.
- Generate and report on inventory control metrics such as actual vs.theoretical usage, including stockouts and cycle count accuracy.
- Support the implementation of our manufacturing processes andsystems and collaborate with Facility Leadership to support kitchenoperations and corresponding requirements.
- Generate reports tohelp Facility Leadership make informed decisions.
- Ensure dataaccuracy and compliance with food safety regulations within the ERPenvironment.
- Become a subject matter expert on the ERP system,understanding its configurations, modules, and best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of, and ensure compliance with,relevant regulatory rules and standards, including OccupationalSafety and Health Administration (OSHA), US Department ofAgriculture (USDA), State Department of Agriculture, HazardAnalysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), Food Safety andModernization Act (FSMA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA),Department of Labor, Health and Sanitation regulations, Food andDrug Administration (FDA), and Weights and Measures.
- Establishand maintain collaborative and productive working relationshipswith Store Support teams and Operational Areas supported byFacility Leadership.
- Foster a positive work environment ofoutstanding teamwork and mutual respect.
Qualifications:
- BA/BSdegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, BusinessAdministration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field ORequivalent combination of education and ERP experience within afood manufacturing facility.
- 18 months experience within a foodproduction environment and 6 months of supervisory experience inthe food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of Sage X3ERP system or similar ERP systems, including finance, inventorymanagement, procurement, and production planning modules.
- Hands-on experience with ERP implementation, customization, andmaintenance is highly valued.
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chainmanagement, environmental health and safety, and OSHA.
- Strongcomputer skills; proficiency in select Microsoft Officeapplications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); and ability to learn customapplications.
- Understanding of financials and Profit & Loss(P&L) statements.
- Ability to work well with others,self-motivated, and capable of working independently with littlesupervision.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on theneeds of the facility, including nights, weekends and holidays asrequired.
- Ability to build strong partnerships with keystakeholders.

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions:
- Must adhere to company dress code,standards of production kitchen dress, and personal protectiveequipment (PPE).
- Must be able to perform the essential functionsof the job with reasonable accommodation.
- Hand use: singlegrasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Work requiresthe following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure totemperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to work in wet anddry conditions.
