Summary Manage projects in an automotive manufacturing environment, meet and/ or exceed company goals and objectives. Responsibilities New Product Launch/Development New and Series Product Pre-Planning Concept, Including Investment Planning
Specification Development for new and existing manufacturing equipment and tooling
Equipment Development, Design, Installation, Commissioning, and Handover to Series Production
Support in Process/Product Development
Continuous Improvement Activities to support best in class production system Series Planning Support Maintenance and Production Support
Coordinate activities with Production/Support teams to minimize production delays
Develop systems to meet Key Performance Indicators(KPIs), analyze data and monitor performance
Identify requirements for product to Improve Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost
Lead and Complete projects on schedule and within the annual operational and capital budgets
Lead and Drive Problem Solving activities in regards to process and machine issues
Collaboration with all customers/affected departments on Production, Product, Process, and Machine Issues
Lead Engineering activities in processing model changes/ investigations (Change Management)
Qualifications Required 3-5 years job related experience
4 year Engineering degree or Equiv.
Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineer With Automotive Experience
Experience with/in
Lean Manufacturing
Capitol Project Implementation
Jig/Fixture Development/Implementation
Project/Vendor Management
CAD/Layout Software
Equipment Design/Analysis
Layout Design/Analysis
Process Development/Analysis Preferred Advanced degree preferred
Maintenance system development/management
PLC programming/Automation Experience
Assembly Torque tools
Microstation or Catia Software
3D Printing Experience
Ergonomic Assist Development
Automotive Facility start-up/manufacturing experience
Scope and Magnitude Some travel may be required
