At Airgas, as a Plant Operator – Retest, you’ll be a key player infilling industrial, medical, and specialty gas cylinders. Your roleis crucial in ensuring compliance with regulations and Airgasstandard operating procedures while maintaining the highest Operate and maintain equipment within our production facility,including compressors, pumps, filling stations, and forklifts, toensure a steady supply of industrial gases. Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensureequipment is in optimal condition, identifying and addressing anyissues promptly. Safely handle and transport cylinders, including filling andquality checks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations andguidelines. Operate a forklift to move materials and products within thefacility safely. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, cylindertracking, and production activities. Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organizedwork environment. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure asecure work environment. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhanceyour knowledge and skills. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification inindustrial operations is a plus. Previous experience in plant operations, industrialmaintenance, or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshootequipment issues. Excellent attention to detail and organizationalskills. Commitment to safety and adherence to safetyprotocols. Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt tochanging priorities. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
