The Hyperbaric Technician is responsiblefor:
The safe and efficient operation of the hyperbaric chamber andrelated support systems as well as the safe delivery of hyperbaricoxygen therapy to the hyperbaric patientProviding patient educationand orientation about hyperbaric oxygen therapyChecking patientvital signs and updating patient chartAssist in the start-up andshut down of the facilityResponsible for completing equipmentmaintenance on time
Requirements:
Current license or certification asapplicable in state of practice in one of the followingareas:
Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT)Certified HyperbaricSpecialist (CHS)Certified Hyperbaric Wound Specialist(CHWS)Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRT)EmergencyMedical Technician (EMT) or ParamedicLicensed Vocational Nurse(LVN)
