Job Description
Marion County Rock Quarry in Winfield, Alabama needs a Processing Plant Operator to oversee operations inside the stone crushing plant. The individual will control and monitor the flow of rock materials through the entire crushing process, while also looking for malfunctions and equipment break downs. High attention to detail and ability to multitask is a plus. Marion county Rock is a drug-free workplace and all applicants must submit to a drug screen. Pay is $17/hour. Benefits include Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, 401K, and 1 week of paid vacation per year. The workday is from 6:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Must be able to work overtime, especially during the busy spring and summer months. Applicants must fill out a paper application in person at the Hamilton Career Center.
