$77.8K – $102K a year 13 hours ago Qualifications Mid-level Programmable logic controllers Full Job Description CEIS | Rayne is currently looking for an O&M Technician for one of our top clients in Tampa, Florida. Key Responsibilities Operate gas turbines, generators, and associated balance-of-plant systems in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Monitor plant performance via control systems (DCS/PLC) and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions to maintain efficiency and prevent equipment damage. Conduct routine inspections of turbines, pumps, valves, piping, and electrical systems, identifying wear, leaks, or potential failures. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation tasks within skill set or in coordination with specialists. Maintain logs and records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and incidents using digital and/or paper systems. Support startup and shutdown procedures for plant equipment, both planned and in response to emergencies. Collaborate with engineering and supervisory staff to troubleshoot issues and optimize plant output. Follow environmental and safety protocols, including hazardous energy control (LOTO), confined space, and hot work procedures. Participate in outage planning and execution, including inspections, parts replacement, and contractor oversight when applicable.
