Full Job Description Company Overview:

ThalCon is a dynamic concrete supplier serving South Florida, formed through a joint venture between Thales Builders Corp and Concourse Construction . Leveraging cutting-edge mobile batch plant technology , we deliver high-performance concrete directly to construction sites, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. We are seeking a Mobile Concrete Batch Plant Operator with technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of on-site concrete production.

Position Summary:

The Mobile Concrete Batch Plant Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and consistent operation of a mobile concrete batching plant . This position plays a critical role in overseeing all batching processes at job sites, ensuring proper mix design, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with drivers, quality control, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate mobile batching equipment in compliance with mix designs, company standards, and project specifications. Set up, calibrate, and monitor batch plant equipment for daily operations on construction sites. Load raw materials (cement, aggregate, water, admixtures) into the plant and manage material inventory. Monitor moisture content, temperature, and mix quality to ensure consistent, specification-compliant output. Troubleshoot batching issues and perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning. Track production metrics and maintain accurate batch logs and delivery records. Coordinate with concrete truck drivers for timely and efficient loading. Communicate with project managers and dispatch regarding job site status, material needs, and production timing. Ensure compliance with all

DOT , OSHA

, and environmental regulations . Maintain and clean all equipment on a daily basis.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience operating an automated concrete batch plant (mobile or stationary). Strong knowledge of mix designs, moisture corrections, and on-site batching procedures. Familiarity with computerized batching systems (Command Alkon, Jonel, etc.) is preferred. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work in outdoor, mobile environments. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required). Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday schedule with Saturday work as needed . Early morning start times (typically 5:00 AM). On-site work at various job locations across South Florida (travel required—company vehicle or per diem may be provided).

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range:
