Staffmark is seeking a Plant Operator to join a minerals processing facility in Iberia, LA. Pay:

$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

Initial Training:

First Shift | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Post-Training:

Rotating shifts including weekends
Second Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00

AM What You’ll Do:

Operate and control plant equipment including crushers, mills, conveyors, and screening machinery
Operate a forklift and front-end loader as needed
Monitor production and make real-time adjustments for quality and efficiency
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Follow all safety procedures and promptly report any hazards
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications
Maintain accurate logs of production and operational activities
Work closely with other team members to meet daily production goals

What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience in plant operations or minerals processing is a plus
Comfortable with physically demanding work and varying weather conditions
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
Forklift/front-end loader experience preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
