Under direct supervision of the Facility Manager. At all times he/she will conduct his/herself professionally and project Miller Environmental positively to employees and clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

  • Independently and successfully manage maintenance of the disposal facility and fleet maintenance; provide fleet support as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on site.
  • Work with staff to ensure all equipment and inventory are in good working order.
  • Manage production of staff.
  • Produce timely documentation for internal costs for Fleet Repair, Maintenance and other projects.
  • Assist upper management and others in operational projects as needed.
  • Hold regular team meetings.
  • Regularly report and consult with Facility Manager.
  • Participate in projects and events throughout the organization.
  • Schedule incoming and outbound loads for optimum efficiency.

Monitor/supervise offloading of incoming liquid loads. Sample & QA/QC incoming liquid loads. Daily Inventory Reconciliation of Petroleum Storage Tanks. Supervise transfer of liquids with pumps/vacuum truck. Monitor/supervise offloading of incoming drum loads. Daily site Health & Safety supervision.

Qualification/Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong Mechanical background
  • Ability to negotiate and complete projects within budget
  • Strong Leadership abilities
  • Detail orientated and works with a high degree of accuracy
  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license
Education/Training/Experience :

High School Diploma or

GED, B.S.

preferred with, Five or more years in a leadership position. Preferably in the petroleum/wastewater fields.
