Job Details:

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Required to monitor, adjust and maintain the operation of the refrigeration systems related to the plant operation. 2) Responsible for the systems of hydraulics, pneumatics, potable water and steam distribution. 3) Required to monitor, adjust and maintain the operation of the boiler, hot/cold water, steam and pumping systems related to the plant operation. 4) Responsible for the documentation and record keeping of logs and readings. 1) Must be able to: a) read instructions, b) enter maintenance data into computer floor terminals, and c) provide written feedback to maintenance department. 2) Have excellent reasoning skills. 3) Have good math skills. 4) Have good communication skills. 5) Have excellent attendance. 6) Have excellent safety record and awareness. 7) Possess any certification requirements as required by local and/or state entities. 8) Must be able to speak, read and write in English. 9) Must be able to successfully pass in twelve months all curriculum, lab exercises and hands-on demonstrated skills in Levels 1-4 of the Tyson craft specific training. 10) Must meet the essential physical functions required to perform assigned duties.
