Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Digital Prepress Technician to join our print production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing digital files for printing, ensuring that all materials meet the required specifications for high-quality output. This role requires a strong understanding of prepress processes, color management, and file preparation standards. As a Digital Prepress Technician, you will work closely with graphic designers, print operators, and clients to ensure that all digital files are properly formatted and optimized for various printing methods, including offset, digital, and large format. You will be expected to troubleshoot file issues, make necessary corrections, and ensure that all jobs are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include reviewing and preflighting incoming files, adjusting layouts, managing color profiles, and creating proofs for client approval. You will also be responsible for maintaining prepress software and hardware, staying up to date with industry trends, and implementing best practices to improve workflow efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in graphic design or print production, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience with RIP software, imposition tools, and digital workflow systems is highly desirable.
