Job Description
Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking a qualified candidates to fill the Plate Mounter position at their VR1 facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia.
Pay:
$19.32
- $24.
16 depending on experience Plus an additional $2.50 per hour for the night shift premium
Schedule:
3/2 work schedule
- Night Shift 7:00 pm
- 7:00 am
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Plate and/or Press department experience is preferred Working knowledge of PRISM Capable of entering data into Excel and Access programs Ability to be self-directed and to multitask
Internal Candidates:
Last performance review must have been “Performer” or better No disciplinary actions Written level or higher within the past 120 days Must have been in current role for more than 120 days. Compiling information, following written and logical instructions to operate a plate mounting system Monitoring and managing plate activities to provide plates to meet the needs of the press department Understanding and completing accurate job search activities Operating and troubleshooting mounting equipment Proof reading printed material, checking one design or pattern against another, and checking documentation for accuracy Using a calculator to calculate (decimals, %, fractions) without a machine, and calculating (+
