Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative 3D Printer Technician to join our emblem manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining 3D printers to produce custom emblems, logos, and decorative parts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with additive manufacturing and a good eye for quality and design aesthetics. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate 3D printers (FDM, resin, or other types) to manufacture emblems and decorative components Prepare digital design files for printing using slicing software (e.g., Cura, Preform) Set up and calibrate printers to achieve high-quality, detailed prints Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on 3D printing equipment Work closely with the design team to optimize emblem designs for 3D printing Conduct post-processing, including support removal, sanding, polishing, and painting/finishing Inspect printed parts for accuracy, surface finish, and dimensional tolerances Maintain a clean and organized work area, including inventory of printing materials and tools Document print settings, quality issues, and process improvements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma or certification in additive manufacturing or design preferred Experience with 3D printing processes, especially those used for fine detail and cosmetic finishes Familiarity with 3D modeling and slicing software (e.g., TinkerCAD, Fusion 360, Blender, Cura) A strong eye for detail and aesthetics — experience in graphic or product design is a plus Manual dexterity and patience for finishing detailed work Good communication skills and ability to follow design specifications Knowledge of different materials (PLA, ABS, resin, etc.) and their behavior during printing and finishing SKILLS Experience in emblem, signage, or custom promotional product manufacturing Basic knowledge of color matching, painting, or electroplating processes Understanding of branding and logo design principles

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred (reading, writing and speaking) Ability to write professional correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations. Strong communication skills.

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
