Design Communications Ltd. (DCL) is a premier custom manufacturer of specialty signage, custom interiors, unique lighting solutions, themed environments, tech-integrated installations, and elaborate sculptural elements with offices in Greater Boston, New York, and Orlando. Currently, we’re on the lookout for a highly creative and self-motivated UV Printing Technician to join our spectacularly talented team, recognized as the best in the world at what they do! At DCL, we value positive attitudes, quick thinking, and professionalism. In this role, you’ll work with state-of-the-art direct-to-substrate UV printers on a variety of custom projects. You’ll be responsible for preparing files, managing print output, and ensuring the highest level of quality control. This position demands someone with strong troubleshooting abilities, computer literacy, attention to detail, and a passion for hands-on problem solving. You’ll be expected to maintain and calibrate equipment, inspect materials, and think creatively to resolve issues and streamline processes. Printing Experience:

Experience with large-format printing, UV printers, or other direct-to-substrate print operations is highly preferred

Software Proficiency:

Adobe Illustrator knowledge is a must. Familiarity with ColorByte 11 software or similar systems is a big plus

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues to keep production flowing required

Quality Control Mindset:

You have a keen eye for detail and a dedication to ensuring only top-quality output leaves the printer and is sent to clients

File Management Skills:

Comfortable importing, modifying, and preparing digital files for production

Hands-On & Versatile:

Willingness to assist with general production and assembly tasks when needed

Tech Savvy:

Comfortable with Windows 10,

Microsoft Office, and Adobe Illustrator Time Management:

Able to meet deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities

Physically Capable:

Able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

Sense of Humor and Communication Skills:

Maintain a positive attitude and excellent communication skills; both written and verbal Pride in
