Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Prepress Technician to join our print production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing digital files to ensure high-quality print output in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and process digital files for print production, ensuring accuracy and compliance with job specifications. Utilize Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Creative Cloud, and Presswise software. Perform color correction, trapping, imposition, and proofing. Troubleshoot and resolve file issues before production. Collaborate with designers, print operators, and production staff to maintain efficient workflow. Conduct checks and ensure files meet industry standards. Operate and maintain Computer-to-Plate (CTP) systems and digital proofing equipment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a prepress role within the printing, packaging, or publishing industry. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and prepress software. Strong understanding of color theory, trapping, and imposition techniques. Experience with offset, digital, or flexographic printing processes. Excellent attention to detail and file troubleshooting skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
