1709, NJ-34, Wall Township, NJ 07727 Job Summary The Imaging Technician is located at our Operations center in Wall, New Jersey. As the Imaging Technician, you will work to ensure that all digital maps and geofences, as well as data sets, are created and ingested using best practices and according to procedure. You are to be detail-oriented and the face of the professional 911inform imaging team as you meet and speak with multiple clients from varying levels of other professions to complete the obligations of client and contracts. This is a full-time position. Pay and salary details are determined based on the individual’s experience and abilities. Position Summary The Imaging Technician works under the Imaging Manager and validates, digitizes, and processes maps from various floor plans submitted by the client. Other responsibilities may involve a variety of data entry and ingestion, as well as geofencing locations for cellular interaction. The technician works to create quality maps in a timely matter with an emphasis on attention to detail and flexibility to adjust to client needs and requests. § Gather relevant project information from Graphics Management. § Meet deadlines and build floor plans on 911inform. § Digitize relevant floor plans assigned by Graphics Manager. § Work alongside Project Managers and Installers to complete the project according to the client’s contract.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in an office environment.
- At least 1 year of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
- Proficiency with office applications, and ability to learn new software and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Intermediate skills with Adobe Suite but with primary focus within Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (Pen tool, manipulating images, importing and exporting different file formats, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Very high attention to detail as we operate on executing pixel-perfection with our outgoing product, as well as multiple facets of character sensitive data sets.
- Familiarity with Google Earth Pro, Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Slack, Excel
- Ability to pivot and adapt with priority and (when applicable) procedural shifts.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – not afraid to ask questions or for further clarification whether that be communicating with the client, team, or outside departments.
- Able to give and receive constructive feedback and be a supportive team player.
- Strong time management skills.
- Able to meet deadlines to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product.
- Manage multiple projects within design specifications.
