Position Summary core hours 11 AM-7 PM We’re seeking a versatile print-production specialist skilled in both high-end color retouching and prepress workflows for our wide-format division. This hybrid role ensures incoming art is print-ready and polished to the highest color standards. Key Responsibilities

• Color Retouching
• Prepress & File Prep
• Receive, preflight, and correct incoming files (PDF, EPS, TIFF, AI)
• Check bleeds, fonts, image resolution, color spaces, and imposition layouts
• Apply ICC profiles, spot-color matching, and verify output proofs
• Perform advanced color correction, tonal balance adjustments, and detailed retouching in Photoshop
• Remove imperfections and refine details in large-format images (RAW, TIFF, PSD, high-res JPEG)
• Ensure consistency across multiple files and formats, adhering to brand/color guidelines
• Collaboration & Documentation
• Liaise with designers, photographers, account managers, and press operators to resolve art-and-color issues
• Maintain comprehensive job tickets, version-controlled file archives, and production logs
• Support continuous improvement by documenting workflow best practices Qualifications & Skills
• 2+ years in wide-format prepress or commercial print
• 3+ years of professional color retouching, preferably in a print-production environment

Technical Proficiency:

• Knowledge of RIP software, Caldera, EFI Fiery or similar is a Plus!
• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop / expert level)
• Preflight tools (Esko, Enfocus PitStop)
• Color management: ICC profiles, Pantone matching
