Press Operator Info Label Inc. 12 Enterprise Avenue, Halfmoon, NY 12065 Position Overview Operators must have advanced knowledge of Digital, Flexo, and/or Hybrid equipment and procedure. Operators must be creative problem solvers who have strong communication and leadership skills to maximize productivity. Duties and Responsibilities Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out – tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies One must be able to interpret exact instructions from a job ticket, then set up and complete all Make-Ready activities accordingly including; set up each print station in accordance to job specifications, proper mounting of dies, and ensures the press is correctly aligned to process requirements Extensive knowledge of Digital Press Units and/or Flexo Ink Systems operates both independently and when utilized together. Appropriately adjusts press printing execution to perform with consistently high quality. Understanding of hybrid printing; specifically the interactions between different components such as screening, foil, Flexo inks, varnish, and other embellishments. Constantly clean and maintain each independent printing system; digital inkjet heads, ink systems, plates/screens, DPU, and all other press components All other tasks as assigned by the manager.
