Press Brake Operator – Sheet Metal 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Seymour, CT 06483 Our client is located here in Southern, CT in the valley area. They are a privately owned metal manufacturing company that has been in business for 50+ years. They work on medical devices, scientific instruments, and elevator parts. They offer a lot of overtime for those looking to make additional cash and operate in a fast paced and continuous work environment. They specialize in precision sheet metal fabricating and are looking for a Press Brake Operator that has the opportunity to grow within the company and get into a leadership position!
Responsibilities:
Operating an Amada Press Brake to form sheet metal while maintaining precision tolerances. Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings/blueprints. Following work order directions and producing required quantity of parts efficiently, while maintaining the quality and tolerances of manufacturing specifications. Inspecting and checking your work. Moving products to and from different areas as needed. Maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to standard operating procedures and health and safety expectations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma 2+ years experienced preferred (will consider less for the right candidate) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in using a dial caliper, micrometer, square, protractor, height gauge. Basic math skills. Ability to read and write in English. 1st
Shift:
7:00 AM – 3:30
PM Pay Rate:
$17 to $18 per hour IND-123
