The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating press brake machinery and will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components with precision. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Duties
- Operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to specifications.
- Fabricate components by interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Assemble parts and components as per project requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to machinery or production processes. Experience
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with machining processes including milling machine operations, laser cutting, and electrical discharge machining is preferred.
- Knowledge of programming CNC machines is a plus.
- Experience working with sheet metal and understanding of fabrication techniques.
