Press Brake Operator Metalcraft Services of Tampa, Inc. 10706 North 46th Street, Tampa, FL 33617 Summary of Press Brake Operator Requirements. To achieve a formed part that is consistently accurate to the drawing within the allocated production schedule. Checking the parts throughout the production run to meet the drawing requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Other duties may be assigned. Accurately reads prints to select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of fabrication work. Sets up, adjusts, and operates cnc press brakes. Mounts, installs, aligns, and secures tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on Press Brakes, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Forms parts to specifications indicated on prints. Maintains production and run time standards for all jobs. Understands, recommends and correctly uses all job-related measuring devices. Troubleshoots and solves most fabrication problems. Produces work daily that is consistently accurate. Job Requirements This position requires a minimum of five years experience with a CNC hydraulic brake press. Applicants are required to possess the ability to read blue prints; calibrate gauges, select tools; use a protractor, angle finder and tape measurer. Possesses practical application of fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, measurement, practical algebra, and essentials of shop trigonometry. Ability to read drawings and workplace rules and procedures. High School diploma or equivalent.
