The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read blueprints accurately. The Press Brake Operator will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety standards. Duties Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for bending operations. Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance. Use hand tools and other machinery, including plasma cutting, stamping press, laser cutting, lathe, and electrical discharge machining as needed. Assemble metal components accurately following production guidelines. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Skills Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation. Experience with hand tools and various machining processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
