CNC PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR FOR AEROSPACE PARTS

$23-$27 HR, EXCELLENT

Job Title:

CNC Brake Press Operator Summary:

Performs brake press forming of mid to high precision aerospace component parts using Cincinnati and CNC Brake Presses. Low volume high turnover workflow so being efficient at setting up, making the necessary adjustments, and producing a good first piece is necessary.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Brake Form parts as required to blueprint and general work instructions. 2. Use of measuring equipment to verify part correctness and tolerance compliance. 3. Participate in process improvements to reduce set up and run cycle times. 4. Adjust machinery as required to hold tolerance requirements throughout the production run. 6. Ensure cleanliness of work area and 5-S implementation.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Participate in cross training of other Fabrication functions to achieve maximum flexibility in personnel. 2. Assist with coordination of production and materials functions. 3. Must own or be willing to acquire their own hand tools.

Experience and Skills Requirements:

1. Three + years of experience in brake forming. 2. Ability to read blueprints, interpret work instructions and perform precision measurements. 3. Ability to perform necessary shop math and part inspection to ensure adherence to drawing specifications. 4. Detailed attention to documents and records, strong work ethic and integrity.

Physical Activity:

1. Ability to work standing for a full shift. 2. Exposure to noise/ general shop environment.

Facility is Air Conditioned and Heated.
