Duties:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job.
• Load and unload materials onto the machine.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of the finished product.
• Perform routine maintenance on the machines to ensure proper functioning.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of press brake operations.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with plasma cutting, laser cutting, milling machines, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and stamping presses.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers to ensure precision.
• Basic math skills for calculating measurements and angles.
