Job Description
Press Operator LSE Staffing Worcester, MA 01610 Job Overview Our client in Worcester, MA is looking for a Press Operator to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently monitor press performance and conduct quality control of parts. This person shall also identify problems in processes and offer suggestions for solutions.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all functions associated with operating a stamping press. Monitor machine operation and record operational data. Read work orders and production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, location of feed line, dimensions, and tolerances. Fabrication functions such as saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or material. Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers. Troubleshoot stamping operation.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). A minimum of 4 years metal stamping experience; or equivalent .
