The objective of this position is the daily setup and operation of the Press Brake Machine and assisting other operators on key work or machines as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Basic math skills Ability to take verbal and written instructions Knowledge of machine programming and computers Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders Must own tools such as micrometers, calipers, and edge finders to perform daily tasks Ability to lift 50lbs Ability to complete physical requirements such as pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling, stooping, standing for long periods of time, and fine finger dexterity Ability to be prompt for shifts and meetings Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment Responsibilities include: Will be responsible for the setup and operation of press brake for established work Responsible for loading, installing, and correctly set up the tools required Will be responsible for optimizing processes to achieve maximum efficiency Responsible for checking parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications using proper gauges Will be responsible for logging content on Traveler, timesheets, inspection documents, and other paperwork associated with the job
