Press Brake Operator Position Available In Wayne, North Carolina

Press Brake Operator Goshen Engineering, Inc. Mount Olive, NC 28365

Job Responsibilities:

• Program and operate CNC press brake based on fabrication drawings.
• Adjust machine parameters based on part inspections, measurements, and blueprints.
• Check bend and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, angle gauges and other precision-measuring instruments.
• Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake.
• Work with tight tolerances.
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
• Perform spot inspections of parts.
• Complete and maintain paperwork.
• Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel).
• Check machine for defects and repair if necessary.
• Ensure machine is calibrated, cleaned, and maintained.

Requirements:

• Applicant must be a citizen of the United States
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to read measuring tools
• Be self-motivated and fast learner
• Be detail oriented and focused
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Ability to work up to 50 hours per week, weekends as needed
• Be proactive, resourceful, highly motivated with good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and responsibilities
• Prior experience in manufacturing fabrication preferred
• Prior experience operating CNC fabrication equipment preferred
