Press Brake Operator EEP Hatboro, PA 19040 Overview We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating press brake machines. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality metal components while adhering to safety standards and operational efficiency. Duties Operate and set up press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. Program the press brake for various jobs, ensuring precision and accuracy in production. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and standards. Utilize hand tools and basic math skills for measurements and adjustments during the bending process. Collaborate with team members to assemble parts as needed, ensuring timely completion of projects. Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge. Safely operate cranes when necessary to move heavy materials within the production area. Assist in electrical discharge machining processes as required. Qualifications Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with programming press brake machines is highly desirable. Proficient in quality inspection techniques to ensure product integrity. Ability to use hand tools accurately and efficiently. Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Experience with milling machines is a plus. Must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
