Press Brake Operator (1st & 2nd Shift Openings) Precision Cut Industries Hanover, PA 17331 Overview We are seeking skilled Press Brake Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in operating press brake machines and possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. This role is essential for producing high-quality sheet metal components that meet our stringent specifications. Responsibilities Operate and set up press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine the appropriate machine settings and tooling requirements. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, etc. to ensure accuracy in dimensions and tolerances. Responsible for setting up/changing tooling. Responsible for programming CNC press brake machines. Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines and tooling to ensure optimal performance and safety. Capable of setting ram pressure and adjust to ensure correct die clearnence pending metal thickness. Collaborate with team members to fabricate parts efficiently while adhering to production schedules. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety protocols. Experience Proven experience operating press brake machines is required; familiarity with stamping presses is a plus. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, including machining and plasma cutting techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings a must. Basic math skills for calculating measurements, angles, and tolerances accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
