  • Set-Up Operator
  • for a well-established manufacturing company in
  • Pinellas Park, FL
  • . This is a full-time, second-shift opportunity offering competitive pay and the chance to grow with an industry leader. As a Set-Up Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating automated assembly equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Operate fully automated assembly machinery to meet production goals.
  • Perform machine changeovers, including feeder bowls, tracks, and related components.
  • Set up, align, and operate assembly machines following work instructions and safety protocols.
  • Read and utilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
  • Prepare raw materials and tooling for machine operation.
  • Complete daily production paperwork and documentation accurately.
  • Support preventative maintenance activities.
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and identify defects.
  • Package and label finished parts according to specifications.
  • Rotate between departments and tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Maintain a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
  • Qualifications

_ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

_ Experience in an automotive or high-volume production setting

  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficient in the use of measuring and quality control tools
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs and remain on feet throughout the shift
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy, including use of handheld scanners
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and visual inspection capabilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working overtime and flexible shifts when required

  • Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
