JOB DESCRIPTION JOB GOAL
To ensure accurate, efficient, and timely production of printed materials for District use.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in production printing and bindery. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. Must be able to work flexible hours when necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of production printing equipment, basic user maintenance, types of printing media, inks, toner, and supplies. Knowledge of machinery adjustments required to produce specialty printing. Ability to maintain routine records and reports and carry out oral and written instructions. Experience with design software i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator or other applications used in the print shop.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Review customer orders, gather required supplies, apply special finishing options if required, release order to production devices, secure product for delivery. Review files submitted for use when printing, make minor adjustments if needed, or return file to customer for correction. Manage shop supplies and advise supervisor of need at appropriate inventory levels. Manage workload with other team members, available inventory, and equipment availability. Complete all bindery work as required by the customer order. Record production data on requested schedule for each production device. Perform basic repairs to print shop equipment and log all maintenance events in appropriate tracking platform. Work with fellow staff members, administrators, vendors, and the public using good judgment and tact. Exhibit interpersonal skills in working as an effective team member and assist other teams as needs arise. Demonstrate support for the School District and its goals and objectives. Maintain expertise in job-related fields including routine repairs of equipment, software and storefront training and upgrades, and other associated training offerings. Manage incoming emails and reply, when necessary, in a timely basis or forward to others as required. Secure testing materials in areas designated for safe keeping and work with testing staff to verify order fulfillment prior to release to sites. Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position. Provide high quality customer service to all in the performance of assigned duties. Attend and participate in required department, division, and District meetings and trainings.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Heavy Work:
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force as needed to move objects. Standing for long periods of time while producing printed materials and bindery functions.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the District.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
