Job:

Operate single, double action, hydraulic or mechanical presses and other equipment necessary to perform a wide range of production operations as draw, re-draw, trimming, sizing, flattening, piercing, ironing, etc.

Responsibilities:

Operate equipment and feed parts/pieces, sheet or coil stock Receive first piece quality inspection approval prior to run Record quantity produced, scrap, materials used and operations completed utilizing manufacturing operating system Perform initial and periodic checks (visual and manual) on die, punch, bolts, brackets, etc. to ensure the set-up is secure and safe to run

Requirements:

Previous press operator experience Ability to read blueprints and job specifications Excellent manual dexterity and coordination Must speak, read, and understand clear English Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must have manufacturing experience Good manual dexterity and coordination Ability to move up to 50lbs Ability to take directions Able to work 5 am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday No upcoming appointments over the next 3 months (at least minimal – – no surgeries, court dates, vacation or child care issues). Training is crucial during this time. #Ind1

$15.00 – $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
