Summary We are seeking a Finishing Lead Technician to join our dynamic team at Maine Wood Concepts. This role is essential for overseeing production finishing processes and ensuring the highest standards of quality in our custom wood component manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform all finishing processes including tumbling, staining, and coating for a variety of wood products.
• Ensure all finishing procedures meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Train and mentor team members on finishing techniques and best practices.
• Maintain equipment and workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Collaborate with production staff to efficiently manage workflow and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in the wood products manufacturing industry is desirable, but willing to train the right individual.
• Knowledge of various finishing products and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot finishing issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience in a leadership role is preferred, but not required.
