Experience running machinery is preferred but not necessary, we are willing to train if you are willing to learn. The ideal candidate would be able to take initiative and ownership of his/her work. Strong time management and strong attention to detail is a must. The job requires sitting and/or standing for long periods of time and lifting 30-50lbs.
Daily Responsibilities:
Prepare for machine set-up rewinding Load Substrate, install tooling and rewind press rolls. Ensure that print, die cutting, and label count meet specifications. Identify and remove defects from finished rolls. Web press rolls through a rewinder and adjust feed and tension controls. Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of material. Apply correct identification labels to identify finished rolls, and stack orders on carts. Ability to understand and follow all customer specifications shown on job tickets.
