Responsibilities:

Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste. Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor. Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures. Assist machine operator to set up feeder, printing downs, die cut section, and ink adjustments accurately in accordance with proper set up techniques. Rotary Die Cutter requires the handling, mounting and unmounting cutting dies on machine, safely, correctly, and efficiently. Be able to pull all the proper tooling (rotary, print die, and ink) for the next order during the previous order. Maintain workstation and machine equipment per 5S Standards. May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours. Conduct accurate quality checks to ensure boxes have required dimensions and zero material defects. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED. 6+ months experience in the corrugated industry or manufacturing environment. Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment. Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test. Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend. Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as needed. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience on a Die cutter.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel. Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance. Excellent communication skills. Thrive in a cross-functional team environment. Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.
