Parts Washer- NJ Position Available In Morris, New Jersey

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

â?¢ Blowing all holes in buckets andnozzles to clear the residue inside. â?¢ Load and Wash all blownparts in part washer. â?¢ Fill out all BOT related to each part andeach work orders. â?¢ Operate previously set-up electricaldischarge machines, radial or straight, to shape metal work piecesunder direct supervision. â?¢ Perform fabrication of simpleelectrodes or dress electrodes under supervision. â?¢ Position andsecure work pieces on electrical discharge machine table withclamps, vice or fixture. Perform minor adjustments to set-up ofelectrode to insure concentricity, alignment and depth of electrodeto work piece using such measuring instruments as caliper and dialindicators. â?¢ Turn controls to adjust machine settings such asvoltage, current, frequency and electrode feed rate according toinformation on chart and/or knowledge of electrical dischargemachining procedures. â?¢ Turn valve to immerse electrode and workpiece in dielectric coolant circulating bath. â?¢ Start machine andobserve beginning of operation. Move controls to position electrodeover work piece. â?¢ Inspect first piece using measuringinstruments for conformance to specifications. Maintain measureddimension list. Inspect key dimensions on each piece and recorddimensions. â?¢ Check set-up and electrode at the start of eachshift. â?¢ Maintain tools and measuring instruments supplied bycompany. â?¢ Maintain company production and quality standards. â?¢Report unusual problems or conditions to supervisor. â?¢ Observecompany safety rules and regulations. â?¢ Perform, as assigned,other similar or related duties.

Qualifications/Requirements:

â?¢High School Diploma or GED equivalent â?¢ Legal authorization towork in the U.S. is required â?¢ Ability to lift/push/pull at least50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation â?¢ Ability towork occasional weekend shifts â?¢ Ability to work overtime asrequired â?¢ Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, forexample: safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes â?¢Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
