The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal stamping operations and will be responsible for operating a 200Ton Minster Press to produce high-quality perforated materials. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency. The Press Operator will work closely with the production team to ensure that all projects meet quality standards and deadlines. Responsibilities Operate and maintain stamping press, ensuring optimal performance and quality output. Set up press equipment for production runs, including adjustments of sub equipment. Monitor quality throughout the production process, making necessary adjustments to achieve desired results. Sharpen details as needed, utilizing a large surface grinder when required. Conduct routine maintenance on press equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Proficient in operating various types of stamping presses Familiarity with surface grinding. Ability to operate forklifts safely. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
