The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in materials handling, ensuring efficient operation of machinery and equipment. This position plays a crucial role in our production process, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various machinery, including sewing machines and screen printing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality output. Handle materials effectively, including packaging finished products for shipment. Utilize a pallet jack for the safe movement of materials within the warehouse environment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Assist in machining processes as needed, demonstrating versatility in operational tasks. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in operating machinery. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and warehouse operations is preferred. Experience with screen printing and sewing is a plus, showcasing a diverse skill set. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles will be beneficial in optimizing workflow efficiency. Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous.
