Silk Screen Printer 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars Stratford, CT 06615 Position Summary The Silkscreen Printer is responsible for accurately applying printed graphics, labels, or identification marks to sheet metal components using silkscreen printing techniques. This role requires attention to detail, steady hands, and familiarity with screen preparation and printing equipment. Key Responsibilities Prepare screens, inks, and materials for printing operations. Set up and operate manual or semi-automatic silkscreen printing equipment. Align artwork and fixtures to ensure accurate placement of printed designs on sheet metal parts. Inspect parts before and after printing for quality and consistency. Perform touch-ups, cleaning, and adjustments to screens and machines as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the silkscreen work area. Follow production schedules and meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with quality and production teams to resolve printing issues. Assist in developing or modifying screens and artwork when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years of silkscreen printing experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience working with metal surfaces is a plus. Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality. Familiarity with color matching and mixing inks. Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, and part specifications. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs frequently. Repetitive hand and arm motions required. Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including gloves and safety glasses. Work Schedule & Pay Full-time, Monday through Friday (overtime as needed).
Hourly Pay Range:
$17 – $20/hour , based on experience and qualifications.
