Press OperatorOrlando 1st Shift $20 Key Responsibilities Set up and operate theKluge Platen Press according to job specifications Perform diecutting, embossing, and foil stamping on a variety of substrates(e.g., paper, cardstock, specialty materials) Adjust press settingsfor pressure, temperature, and registration to achieve optimalresults Monitor press during operation to detect issues and ensureconsistent quality Perform regular press maintenance and cleaningTroubleshoot mechanical and production issues independently or withsupervisor assistance Follow job ticket instructions, includingspecs for registration, foil type, die alignment, and sheet sizeComplete production paperwork, including run times, quantities, andmaterial usage Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaAssist with training new operators or press assistants as neededCommunicate with supervisors, quality control, and prepress teamsto ensure smooth workflow Required Qualifications 2 years ofexperience operating a Kluge Platen Press or similar diecutting/finishing equipment Strong understanding of foil stamping,embossing, and die cutting techniques Ability to read and interpretproduction orders, proofs, and job tickets Mechanical aptitude andtroubleshooting skills Attention to detail and commitment toproducing high-quality work Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and standfor long periods Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefitspackage for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum EssentialCoverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, andEAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
