Large Format Print Press Operator – Lead Bone Safety Signs,LLC Alpharetta, GA 30004 We are seeking an experienced and proactive Large Format Printer Operator to take a pivotal role in our signage production team. As a key contributor, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of large-format print presses, ensure seamless communication between production and administration, and champion quality control (QC) standards. Your expertise in screen printing, forklift operation, inventory management, and workflow optimization will be instrumental in driving efficient and high-quality production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the operation and maintenance of large-format print presses, ensuring optimal functionality and consistent output quality. Oversee ink usage and tank maintenance, ensuring production standards are met and sustained. Manage and operate screen printing equipment, including maintaining and updating the “new burned screens” list. Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials and finished products, establish and implement QC procedures, and uphold product excellence. Serve as the primary bridge between production and administrative teams, ensuring clear and effective communication for seamless operations. Track and manage inventory levels, organizing and replenishing production materials while optimizing workflows. Safely operate forklifts for material transport, contributing to an organized and efficient workplace. Proactively execute maintenance schedules for production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in large-format printing, screen printing, and equipment maintenance. Strong knowledge of ink properties and production processes. Familiarity with digital communication systems for production workflows such as Excel. Expertise in inventory management and organization. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to develop and implement quality control procedures. Forklift operation certification or experience is preferred. Collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills. Background in signage production or similar industries. Demonstrated leadership in a production or manufacturing setting.
