Experienced Flexographic Press Operator, 2nd shift GT Labels & Packaging Norcross, GA 30093 Overview We are seeking a skilled Experienced Flexographic Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of various printing techniques, including screen printing and color management. 40 hours per week on our 2nd shift, 2:00pm-10:30pm, Mon-Fri. Responsibilities Operate and maintain printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and quality. Fabricate layouts according to specifications and design requirements. Implement color management techniques to achieve accurate color reproduction. Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure standards are met. Collaborate with the prepress team to prepare files for production. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Loading and unloading press with screens, inks, flood bars and squeegees Repositioning printing plates, adjusting pressure rolls, or otherwise adjusting machines to improve print quality Inspecting and examining printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects using specific test methods and equipment. Experience Proven experience in screen printing or similar press operation roles is preferred. Familiarity with quality control processes in a manufacturing environment. Experience with prepress operations is a plus. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
