Screen Printer T’s R Us 40 Lewiston Road, Gray, ME 04039 Job Summary Do you want to work in a small shop environment and have complete control over production and printing? We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in screen printing with a solid technical understanding and problem solving skills for both manual and automatic presses. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, efficient, motivated, and can work independently. The Screen Printer will be responsible for managing the printing process from start to finish, ensuring that all products meet our quality standards with on-time delivery. Duties Operate and maintain screen printing equipment to produce designs on various materials. Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and specifications. Prepare screens and inks, ensuring proper color matching and application techniques. Manage the printing process, making adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal results. Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy and consistency. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques related to screen printing and visual design. Requirements Proven experience in screen printing is required; familiarity with digital art is a plus. Strong understanding of color theory and its application in print media. Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of aesthetics in visual design. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
