Responsibilities:

Our Printing PressOperators must adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules,procedures, and guidelines. Reports all safety concerns or issuesto their immediate supervisor. Maintains a clean and safe workenvironment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments.

Completes make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and ProductSpecification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks,substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used. Responsible forcompleting all required quality checks related to productspecifications, visual, and functional checks. Completes allpress-side quality checks. Operates press to produce product inaccordance to customer specifications while maintain quality,waste, and press efficiency. Maintains consistent quality duringthe production run.

Critical quality checks includes:

copy, color,and registration, and ink adhesion. Ensure conformance to all otherquality checks. Responsible for completing all related procedures,work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRCstandard. Completes press make ready’s in an efficient manner.

Completes all required equipment maintenance duties. Cleans plate,cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricates press as needed. Inputs allrequired information into the Radius system for material usage andtime in an accurate and prompt manner.

Qualifications:

High schooldiploma or GED. 1+ years as a printing press operator experienceand/or training. The physical demands require standing, using handsto feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. Thisposition requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee isrequired to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Mustbe able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
