The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of print processes, quality control measures, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate various types of printing presses, including screen printing and digital presses. Perform quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with the design team on layout design and prepress requirements. Set up press equipment according to job specifications and maintain proper ink levels. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the printing process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Assist in training new staff on press operations and best practices. Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite for layout adjustments as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry. Strong knowledge of quality control processes related to print production. Familiarity with layout design, prepress procedures, and typography principles. Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
